Mustafavi Students movement (MSM)

Dear Students

Thoughts will rise in minds after hearing the name of “Mustafavi Students Movement” that there are many student organization already working in the country. Slogan’s of organizations are like Islamic revolution and salvation of students problem, so why do we need to make a new student organization by the name of MSM? Question like this always irritate the mind of emerging students.

MSM had not been build just for the temporary or immediate purposes. It is the result of planning and thinking process of many years. It provides all the solutions and implemented working plans that a student deals with. Under the blessed supervision of Shaikh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, we, Mustafavi Student Movement (MSM), are working with hard convictions to materialize the expectations of our leader. MSM established itself on 6th October, 1994 as purely a non-political movement, which is striving for the basic fundamental rights of students.

MSM is the student wing of Minhaj-ul-Quran Internationnal. It was established on 6th OCT 1994. MSM is non-political student movement which works on the ideology of student rights.

As Sa’di remarks in his Gulistan, “Intellect without firmness is craft and chicanery; and firmness without intellect, perverseness and obstinacy”, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri possesses the same twin virtues of knowledge and integrity as integrity without knowledge for him is weak and useless, and knowledge for him without integrity is dangerous and dreadful. His curiosity is not motivated by a utilitarian interest but by a sense of genuine pride to extend the frontiers of knowledge and to illuminate the dark corners of the world with its luminous rays. He is internally organised; he does not drift as his inner discipline never lets him swerve from the path of righteousness. The direction of the mind is more important for him than its progress because he does not measure success; he applies his mind and does not let his intellect rest.

Shaikh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is definitely an answer to the monopoly of the unlettered clergy over students’ lives. He is the shield against the clerical tendency to emphasise the doctrine in lien of an intellectual understanding of Islam. His gift of speeches clarifies, and then offers a definition that brings to consolation without causing alienation from our current educational system.

MSM established itself on 17th October, 1994 as purely a non-political movement, which is striving for the basic fundamental rights of students. The basic objectives of MSM include:

Targets for MSM

Movement has following three targets to achieve


1. Elimination of five basic evils.
2. Solution of five basic problems.
3. Five basic action the promotion of students wellbeing.

Elimination of Five Basic Evils

Movement wants to remove the following five basic evils


1. Elimination of sectionalism and sectarianism .
2. Elimination of extremism and terrorism .
3. Elimination of social and economic exploitation.
4. Elimination of moral and sexual exploitation.
5. Elimination of narcotics and drinking .

Solution of Five Basic Problems

Our society becomes a house of problems now a day. We always face problem after problem in short term. So most of persons lost there hope, that take them towards hopeless and helpless. So MSM has focused to solve the following problems.

1. Solution of students frustration and psychological depression.
2. Solution of ignorance and illiteracy.
3. Solution of aimlessness
4. Promotion of healthy academic atmosphere.
5. Protection of women rights and promotion of their status.

Five basic action the promotion of students wellbeing

For the development of society we have to build the true Muslims in our country specially students. MSM is student revolution organization that wants to build such true Muslims rapidly in circle of students. Following are some character building elements that MSM is implementing .

1. Economic development of students.
2. Improvement of quality of life.
3. Promotion of social and environmental health .
4. Steps to deal with the social, cultural and ecological changes curative.
5. Key elements of students success.

OBJECTIVES

1. Build character of the students through spirtual purification.
2. Improving student education and practical skills promote social welfare activities.
3. Restore self confidence and encouragement and incalculate spirit of serving the nation.
4. Work against social and economics exploitation.
5. Make the students a symbol of struggle for peace.
6. Practical effort to eridicate unemployment.
7. Install the democratic behaviour and mature leadership facilities in the student.
8. Helping students in there own fields of education.
9. Saving them from wrong use or political use from ordinary political parties who use them for their own sake.
10. Awaking them from dark ages.
11. Dealing them under the light of modernization.
